On 29 July 2026, a World Population Day Awareness Program was organized. The program was presided over by Principal Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian. Key speaker Mr. Sandeep Kudva (Health Officer, Karkala Taluk) addressed the students on the impacts of population growth and sudden change in gender ratios on resources and the economy. He emphasized maternal-child health and urged to advocate for sustainable population control. Health Education Officer Smt. Susheela K., Student Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari, and IQAC Coordinator Sri Lakshminarayana K.S. were also present.
