On 28 October 2026, a lecture on voter literacy was organized under the auspices of the IQAC and the Electoral Literacy Club. Addressing the students as the Chief Guest, Dr. Sudha U., HOD of Political Science at Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, emphasized that active public participation, a questioning mindset and mandatory voting for everyone over 18 are essential for a strong democracy. Presiding over the program, Principal Dr. Manjunath A. Kotian highlighted that constructive dialogue drives societal progress and advised students considering politics to complete at least their degree before entering public life. Electoral Literacy Club Coordinator Assistant Professor Sumalini Jain, along with student representatives Ms. Ankita and Ms. Sanika, were present on the dais.
