An orientation programme on industry-relevant add-on diploma courses was conducted on 4th September 2026 for first and third-year undergraduate students by the Manipal Skill Development Centre (MSDC) under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
The program was presided over by C.A. Shivananda Pai B., President of the Governing Council. Chief Resource Persons Brig. Dr. Surjit Singh Pabla, Chairman of MSDC and Ms. Rajalaxmi Anandan, Centre Head of the School of IT Skills at MSDC, addressed the students along with Sri Anjaiah Devineni, Registrar of MSDC. The speakers stressed the importance of acquiring versatile skills, exploring dual-degree options, preparing for competitive exams and productively utilizing semester breaks. The session concluded with an interactive career skills workshop led by Ms. Rajalaxmi Anandan.
Principal Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian, IQAC Coordinator Sri Lakshminarayana K.S., Students’ Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari, and Programme Coordinator Sri Nanda Kishore K., were also present.
