Under the joint auspices of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Student Welfare Committee, a Health Awareness Orientation Program for first-year degree students was organized on 29 July 2026. The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian. Resource person Dr. Jayashree Satish Rao, Pediatrician at Dr. T.M.A. Pai Rotary Hospital,Karkala highlighted home-cooked food as the primary source of strength, urging students to prioritize wholesome meals and proper hydration. She also stressed personal discipline, regular yoga, active living and avoiding procrastination, while reminding students to remain grateful to their parents. Student Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari and IQAC Coordinator Sri Lakshminarayana K.S. were also present.
