The 5th Convention of AGE College Teachers was inaugurated on 19th September 2026 at 9:30 A.M. by Dr. K. Sreedhara Ranganatha Pai, Administrative Officer, AGE, Manipal. In his inaugural address, he highlighted Dr. T. M. A. Pai’s vision of holistic societal development through education, healthcare, employment, and social service, emphasizing education as a means of social transformation.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Secretary, AGE, Manipal, spoke on the transformational journey of Manipal and its contribution to education. He referred to the National Education Policy and highlighted emerging opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The programme was presided over by CA Shivanand Pai B, President, SBC Governing Council. Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian, Principal, Sri Bhuvanendra College, delivered the welcome address, and Sri Ramesh S. C., Principal, Sri Bhuvanendra P. U. College, proposed the vote of thanks.
