On 22 September 2026, an awareness workshop on the Government of Karnataka’s Yuvanidhi Scheme, alongside a comprehensive Skill and Employment Guidance Programme, was organized. Presided over by Principal Dr. Manjunath A. Kotian, the event was inaugurated by Mr. Uday Kumar Shetty, Muniyalu (Vice-President, Udupi District Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee), who highlighted how government guarantee schemes provide essential social security and boost confidence among youth. Chief guest Mr. Ajith Hegde, Mala, President, Karkala Taluk Yuvanidhi Implementation Committee shared insights on the scheme’s active local reach, while Mr. Prashanth Rao, Executive Officer, Karkala Taluk Panchaya advised students to focus on competitive examinations. Ms. Lakshmi Suvarna (Counselor, Udupi District Employment Exchange) delivered introductory remarks explaining the operational guidelines and benefits of the scheme. Ms. Latha, Employment Information Officer, Student Welfare Officer Dr. Vijayakumari, Sri Lakshminarayana K. S. IQAC Coordinator, Placement Cell Coordinators, Mr. Mahesh Shetty and Mrs. Joyline Vandana Cabral were present.
