On August 5, 2026, NCC Army and Navy Wing organized an “Orientation Program for First-Year degree students”. The chief resource person, Commander Ashwin M. Rao of the Indian Navy, expressed great pride in Sri Bhuvanendra College’s legacy and encouraged cadets to channel their hard work and energy into serving the nation. He emphasized that true fulfillment comes from physical and mental growth, highlighting discipline and determination as the foundation of success, he praised the NCC for instilling patience, wisdom, and resilience, ultimately urging cadets to cultivate strong self-confidence so they can serve as inspiring role models for future generations. The program was presided over by Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian, Principal of Sri Bhuvanendra College. PI Staff Rahul Ranjan, Students’ Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari, NCC Naval Caretaker Officer Prajwal Naik D., and NCC Army care taker Officer Ms. Pavithra were also present.
