On March 3, 2025, the annual NSS camp of Sri Bhuvanendra College, Karkala, was inaugurated at Government Senior Primary School, Shirlalu Soodi, Block. Education Officer Smt. S.R. Girijamma, the Chief Guest, highlighted NSS’s importance in self-discovery and aspiration building. The inauguration was conducted by Smt. Bharathi, President of Shirlalu Gram Panchayat, with Principal Dr. Manjunath A. Kotian presiding over the event.
