On 17 October 2026, the annual activities for the academic year 2026–27 of National Service Scheme Units I and II were formally inaugurated. Dr. Rajendra, NSS Nodal Officer, inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp and highlighted that the NSS plays a vital role in fostering service-oriented leadership and social responsibility among youth. Stating that competitions identify talent while opportunities give wings to it, he noted that the hard work and resilience gained through NSS activities will guide students through life’s challenges. Presiding over the function, Principal Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian urged students to cultivate positive values and a spirit of community service to reap the complete benefits of these initiatives.
Students’ Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari and IQAC Coordinator Sri. Lakshminarayana K. S., NSS Unit I Secretary Suraksha and Unit II secretary Tejas were present on the dais. NSS Officer Sri. Shankar Kudva delivered the introductory remarks.
