On 25 August 2026, the traditional “Kesar Donji Gobbu” program was organized for students at Santrabettu Guttu. Students actively participated in the event and enjoyed various activities in the muddy paddy field, experiencing the joy of rural life and traditional culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Paniraj, head of the Santrabettu Guttu House, expressed his happiness over the students’ enthusiastic participation and highlighted the historical significance of the nearly 500-year-old heritage house.
Presiding over the program, Principal Dr. Manjunatha A. Kotian remarked that such activities help students understand their roots and learn valuable life lessons beyond academics.
Sri Yogesh Poojary, Sri Sadananda Devadiga, Sri Ramesh Acharya, and Smt. Surekha Shetty were present as guests. IQAC Coordinator Prof. Lakshminarayana K. S., Student Welfare Officer Dr. Vijaya Kumari and Associate Student Welfare Officer Prof. Nandakishore K. were also present on the dais.
